Revitalizing Downtown Lafayette: The Municipal's Historic Transformation

Ferrari Development oversaw the revival of downtown Lafayette’s long-vacant federal courthouse and adjacent buildings as the Development Advisor/Owner Representative. The project, now known as "The Municipal," transforms these historic sites into approximately 70 modern apartments, complete with a pool, clubhouse, and a pet-washing station. Named after prominent judges and blending art-deco with mid-century modern design, The Municipal pays homage to its rich past while introducing vibrant urban living.

Enabled by a Restoration Tax Abatement and overcoming economic challenges, the $15-16 million redevelopment breathes new life into the heart of Lafayette. The Municipal not only revitalizes the area but also stands as a symbol of downtown Lafayette's ongoing renaissance.
